This is a very new bakery/sandwich shop on the corner of Monterey St. and W. Gabilan. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that they didn't have a couple things in the station that is on the menu board and they don't have combos. Everything is made fresh daily and you can tell! I ordered a custom sandwich which was perfect for me since i'm really picky and it was so good and filling for only $6. Plus, it's local, so Check it out!

The Bakery Station has it all if you want a good authentic sandwich with (here's the kicker) BREAD THAT AREN'T IN HEATING OVENS!!! Call me weird but to me the difference between a good sandwich and a great sandwich is not only the quality of the meats, toppings etc. but if you have great quality bread that is freshly made, Voila!! Sandwich heaven and that's what you get when you eat at The Bakery Station, and not only do they have sandwich's but also have good side eats as well such as scones, parfaits, they even have quiche! All I'm saying is give them a chance you wont be disappointed (the Road Hog or Bel Air are top notch!)

My son and daughter-in-law have been telling me about this spot for months. I finally had an opportunity to try their food last week. Erica, one of the two stunningly attractive co-owners, suggested I try a smoked tri-tip sandwich on their herbed foccacia bread-WOW! It was a perfectly orchestrated symphony of flavors...one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Unlike many eateries, they make all their own baked goods and engineer the flavors of their sandwich combinations-this place is truly special. The hearts, hands and souls of the owners are vested in every bite of what they produce for their customers. Best sandwich I've had in 13+ years in the area, including the Monterey Peninsula.
